Posters in Harlem

Community activists and volunteers from No Longer Empty took Wanted posters into the streets of Harlem. They went into stores (barber shops, delis, fast food restaurants, nail salons, etc.) had conversations with the employees or owners and asked stores to display the Wanted posters. Many did. As they were taken to the neighborhood, many people on the streets began to look closely at them and conversations about how the police harass people began to unfold.
